Tony is Managing Director and executive coach with the Executive Coaching Center in the United Kingdom.
He has conducted management coaching for over 15 years, recently completing individual assignments with executives in Tech Data Europe, Ford, Rolls-Royce, 3COM, Telewest, Honeywell Europe, Generali SpA and the Halifax Bank.
Until 1996 he was Managing Director of PDI (Europe), a Minneapolis-based human resource consultancy, responsible for operations in London, Paris, Brussels, Stockholm and Leamington Spa. Tony has published several articles on teamwork development, cross-cultural management, and individual /corporate transitions.
Previously Tony gained experience in manufacturing management with Unilever in Germany and the UK, management education and development as a member of faculty at Cranfield University Business School (C.I.T) and management consultancy in the Asia Pacific based in Hong Kong. Tony has an MBA from CIT and was awarded his doctorate for research into motivation. His thesis focused on the work motivation of the industrial supervisor. His current research interest lies in the field of leadership effectiveness and he is currently exploring, with sponsoring client organisations, the role of "excellence in execution" as a core ingredient to leadership success.
From an early career in personnel management and counselling, Laraine has focused in recent years on assisting organisations and individuals during structural change. She has expertise in coaching and career transition and, facilitation and managing HR projects. Worked in professional services firms, manufacturing, financial services and the public and not for profit sectors.
