Assess the future potential and careers of staff

Executive Coaching Centre

ECC provides a complete succession and career development process that includes:

Initial meeting

This first meeting establish the conpara of the succession and career development programme. This meeting is typically with senior management and can also involve the executives who are directly involved in the programme.

Assessment

This process uses carefully selected assessment tools to develop an understanding of the career needs of the client. We recommend the use of the NEO Professional Development Report, which is a well-researched product, which provides information about the individuals' strengths and development areas. ECC can also provide a 360-degree Emotional Intelligence Evaluation system and a wide range of other measures. In addition, an in-depth interview is conducted that explores each client's career, goals, values and attitudes to provide valuable information.

Career coaching

The ECC coach would work through a range of issues with the client. These may include the match between the individual's aspirations and the organisation's opportunities. It may involve exploring possible promotions, lateral moves or other career options. The coach will provide relevant readings and exercises to facilitate the achievement of the agreed career goals.

Career Motives

Programme evaluation

ECC would undertake a comprehensive evaluation as part of the programme and this would include:

  • The level of satisfaction of the clients and their managers with the programme overall
  • The level of competence of the coach
  • The level of knowledge gained during the programme
  • The degree of application of the learned skills to the workplace
  • The impact the programme has had on productivity and effectiveness in the workplace

Comments from a coaching client

"I just wanted to be in touch to thank you again for your coaching, support and advice last year. My move is the best career decision I have ever made. Much credit to you, and many thanks. Some stories do have happy endings, and you may enter me into the 'successful outcome' column."
